Planning Application rejected
The Southwold Railway Trust is naturally disappointed that Suffolk Coastal’s planning committee refused the application for a Southwold Railway Heritage Centre at Wenhaston last Wednesday, 5th December. However, we are much encouraged by the close vote – 5 to 3

Well, the October deadline has passed and we are currently told it will be a few more weeks. Nothing much else we can do but wait..
Planning application extension
Suffolk Coastal District Council have deferred the planning decision date once again – the latest date is October 10th. Glad they’re doing the job thoroughly! Let’s hope for a positive outcome for us. Their website doesn’t make it easy to register
