The Southwold Railway Trust has taken delivery of two historic items of rolling stock from the Isle of Man – Manx Northern Railway Coach number 3 built in 1879 and the frames of steam locomotive No.7 Tynwald built in 1880.

Well, the October deadline has passed and we are currently told it will be a few more weeks. Nothing much else we can do but wait..
Planning application extension
Suffolk Coastal District Council have deferred the planning decision date once again – the latest date is October 10th. Glad they’re doing the job thoroughly! Let’s hope for a positive outcome for us. Their website doesn’t make it easy to register
