We have just learnt that the Bailey Bridge across the Blyth is re-opening before Christmas so this means the BLYTHBURGH TO SOUTHWOLD WALK IS NOW ON. We will meet at the Blythburgh Station site at 10.30am on SATURDAY 29th DECEMBER and track walk to Steamworks at Southwold where there will be some refreshments at the Steamworks Cafe. THE STEAMWORKS SITE WILL BE OPEN ON THAT DAY FROM 11AM TO 4PM AND THERE WILL BE 7 1/4″ STEAM RIDES ON THE BVLR. Come and join us. The shop will be open and we have Peter Paye’s new book on sale.
Stop Press We have just had confirmation of a £2,500 grant from Waveney DC for workshop equipment in the Engine Shed.
