Description
The spirit of the Southwold Railway expertly captured in this full-colour print of a superb oil painting by the late Peter Green. No.1 SOUTHWOLD heads its train through the wooded section of the line beyond Blythburgh (commonly known as ‘The Heronry’, or ‘Tinker’s Copse’). With carriages in their early livery of lined cream, Edwardian youngsters cheerfully wave as the train passes.
